Definitely some pros and cons... this high chair is sleek the faux leather is soft and it’s all over easy to clean. However the straps do not tighten enough for a baby under 6 months and the straps also twist too easily.

We’ve had the Joovy Foodo since our little one was born he’s now 16 months. It was great until he became mobile! No matter how tight we tighten the straps he still wiggles out of it daily. The tray does not get close enough to the seat back to keep him in. We’ve used other brand high chairs at grandmas and friends houses and the biggest difference is their trays almost serve as a secondary safety measure to keep him in. The trays get close enough to the seat back there is no wiggle room. I hate the thought of having to buy another high chair but that’s the point we are at to break the habit of climbing out at every meal.

I bought this high chair for my second child approximately a year and a half ago. I really like the features sturdiness tray and overall appearance of the chair. I always wipe down the cover/exterior and wash the tray after meal times and vacuum out crumbs HOWEVER I recently removed the cover (not an easy feat nor something that from the outward appearance needed doing which is why I hadn’t done it until now)to prepare to deep clean the chair to go into storage as we no longer need it for my 2 year old and I was appalled. I found what appears to be black mold growing in the impossible to clean crevices and crannies of what I thought was a clean chair. My child has been sitting and eating on this and that makes me very uncomfortable. I’m now out $229 on a chair that I feel I can’t use for my 3rd child (on the way) bc I don’t feel I could ever fully clean all these tiny spaces thoroughly and the chair does not come apart any further. We have lots of other Joovy products I am typically very pleased with them but this one really missed the mark. :(

Both my baby and I are so happy with this high chair. I was looking for a high chair my baby could use right away and Foodoo looks great easy to get my son in & out and he is very secure on it. We can also get the leather sit off to easier cleaning the sit. This is somenting they don’t mentione here but I asked the costumer service team.

The tray for our Foodoo was faulty right out of the box. We usually find that our joovy products are reliable and easy to install. The tray does not function as the limited instructions advise and at 3pm (Arizona time) for customer service line is already closed. (This is when my children are napping and I can do things like make a call for assistance!). It appears that the tray was put together incorrectly before boxing. Hopefully joovy will find a way to correct this so that I can use this for my twin daughter who needs feeding at an angle.

Absolutely LOVE this high chair! My baby fits in it so perfectly and it's so comfortable! Easy to clean and use.

We've been using the Foodoo for a few months and love it's sleek modern design. The 8 height adjustments & 5 recline positions are some of my favorite features along with the fact that you can easily wipe down the leatherette keeping it looking clean all the time. 3 or 5 point harness perfect as my little one grows & with the ability to fold while standing I can keep it stored easily yet out of the way!

This highchair is very easy to set up. It comes in the box with only 3 pieces. The chair tray and the foot piece. All you have to do is attach the foot piece put the tray on and voila! The beautiful leatherette seat is easy to clean as well as soft&comfy. It has a 5pt harness and the seat reclines to 5 different positions. This is great for babies that don't sit upright yet to bottle feed. The height can go low to the ground to sit next to the couch table height or standing in the kitchen. It has soft wheels that make it move easily and the bottom folds up for storing. The tray has a single handed lever underneath and when it goes too far out you'll see red dots to let you know. There's also a plastic removable tray for easy cleaning. Below is the foot rest which has 2 positions that's easy to change. All of these features make this a great stylish highchair! I highly recommend it.

We loved how easy the Foodoo is to maneuver. Layla was able to use it for Thanksgiving which was a huge step for Layla! We were so impressed with how easy it was to change the height and the recline position. It can fit nicely with any sized table. With its rubber wheels it’s a breeze to move around (without scratching floors – yeehaw!) and can be stored just about anywhere. And with it's sleek modern lines it looks great in our breakfast nook. This is a must have item for any family with a little one.

I love that this product is versatile and has a near non-toxic make. It’s slightly hard to close but when it does it is nice to place up against the wall to save space in my small home. Customer service was quick to respond and super helpful when I reached out with some questions. Great option for a high chair and booster combo!

Absolutely not happy with the customer service I received. I needed a replacement seat cover for my Foodoo high chair. They told me they discontinued my model and the new seat would not fit. So I ordered a new Highchair. When I received it the seat looked identical. I spoke with a gentleman and he told me to try it. So I did. It is a perfect fit. He told me the seat replacement would be $26.99. I started a new conversation for a return. The manager Veronica Zenon was absolutely ridiculous to deal with. She wanted to argue with me about the seat cover not fitting. I don’t have time for this nonsense. Then I finally get my return label and am told my total would be $49.99. $15.00 for shipping. Not sure where the other $4.00 is coming from. I can create a label through pirateship for the seat cover for under $10.00. So it just infuriates me that they are overcharging so much! I thought I found a good highchair for my grandchildren. This is my 3rd one I have purchased within the last 2 years and more grandchildren are on the way. Guess I need to start researching other brands.

The foodoo is advertised to grow with your child yet the cushion won’t even last through the first stage of babyhood. This chair is not worth the price tag and customer service does not stand behind their product if you aren’t within the 2 years. Huge regret.

I've tried so many highchairs out and this one wins on practicality and large age ranges. Loved being able to adjust up and down and recline super fast. However it's total garbage as the cover disenegrates so easily and leaves tiny toxic fake leather particles for my child to pick at or eat. Without cover replacements it's headed to a landfill. Just make a more durable and easy to clean cover Joovy! At this price there is zero excuses I should have to be trying to buy a new replacement cover because it was lightly used for a previous child. Absolutely ridiculous.

I’ve been using this chair for the last seven months. Cleaning the seat had to be the most difficult thing I have to put a paper down before I sit my son in it because the chair now has a smell I can’t get rid of The seat isn’t machine washable and wiping it is not enough to get the smell of food off of it so now it smells like a wet dog. It’s annoying to have to feed my child in this three times a day and having to put paper down so his clothes won’t smell. This chair is too expensive to have to deal with Chess. Good luck getting the food out of the crevices.

Pros- adjustable heights rolls without scratching the floor and folds up easily. The reclining seat may be good as well but we didn’t utilize that.Cons- as others have mentioned the space between the baby and the tray is is larger and at 6 months you may need something to boost them up higher as well. Clean up can be tough after each meal with all the crevices in the seat cover and the harness. We remove and deep clean those about once per week. Tray cover can pinch little fingers so snap it on away from baby. Baby has started using his feet to push the tray off completely when he is in the chair which makes for even more messes! The footrest is still inches away from being able to touch his feet and he is average height for age. We started using the high chair at 6 months and have been using it ever since thinking he would grow into it but I’m wishing I purchased a much cheaper easier to clean chair.

I’ve had so many different high chairs over the years from Peg Perego Graco Ingenuity Summer infant IKEA and Joovy. I own two Foodoos if you’re wondering which one’s my favorite. It’s not perfect but it’s the best one I’ve come across. Pros: looks great easy to wipe down multiple height levels recline for babies and is actually at a comfortable level great customer service.Cons: a bit difficult to fold for slim storage nowhere to hang tray when folded pricey leatherette cover seems to have changed and is less durable

We tried several highchairs before this one all in which we ended up returning. This one is by far the best. Super easy to clean move and adjust. I've had it for 2 years now and 2 kids have used it. Currently my 5 month old. It's very sturdy. I definitely recommend it

We’ve been using the Joovy Foodoo for our son for the past eight months. Great to start but the other day he was bouncing to music and one of the locks on the legs broke. Now the right leg won’t stay locked. Dangerous!

My mother bought me this product after I complained about needing a high chair. There was very little assembly which is great! We did have one small issue with the tray not going into the slots correctly so I was unable to use it. I emailed customer service and it was one of my best costumer service experiences! Better than amazon which is saying a lot! Their email response were quick and timely and in less than 24 hours I have a replacement on the way. Joovy’s costumer service has definitely made me a life long costumer! Aside from that the high chair is perfect! Easy to clean the adjustable height and recliner works great and is a life save!
